Paul developed a passion for photography ever since he purchased his first digital camera after the birth of his first daughter. He used the camera to take memorable photos of her starting out in life and subsequently then of his youngest daughter. He also started taking photos of landscapes in and around his home town of Downpatrick. His landscape photography quickly gained him recognition after one of his images was selected to appear in UTV's 2016 calendar out of over 2,500 entrants and another one more recently was also selected to appear in Northern Ireland's Hospice 2017 calendar.
It was only after offering to shoot a friends wedding in 2015, that Paul developed his love for wedding and portrait photography. He enjoyed meeting people and more importantly he enjoyed seeing the reaction of his clients when they first received their edited photos. Word then got around and before he knew it he began shooting more and more beautiful weddings.
His main aim is to capture the spirit of your wedding day - the mood and feel of everything surrounding the celebration as you and your loved one marry one another. He looks for those moments that encapsulate your wedding day, and tells the story. Beginning at the Brides house, he will cover the whole Bridal party throughout the entire day and right up until the covering of the speeches.
Where his work shines though, is during the romantic portraits of the two of you together as newly-weds - the essential photographs of the day. With this in mind, he will collaborate and have fun with you during this session to capture the beautiful spark that exists between the two of you, giving you photos that you will treasure forever.
Paul is happy to shoot all faiths, civil partnerships as well as those who are of same sex.
He is down to earth and easy going and this shines through his demeanour throughout the entire wedding day and is furthermore reflected in the images that you will receive of the day.
